Introduction
I am in
spiritual unity with the Infinite and my fellow human beings.
Chapter
1
As I take
the journey within, I discover and know myself.
As I study
the universe, I come to know the mind that sustains it. “Space” is a
presence – one continuous, unified, intelligent and inexhaustible
potential that here and there precipitates as matter.
I am a
spiritual being with infinite possibilities within myself.
Chapter
2
I know
myself to be an expression of God or the activity of God – life and
intelligence pressing itself into visibility. The
kingdom
of
God
is within me.
In God I
live and move and have my being; through faith I can open doors into the
inexhaustible mind of God, finding renewed creativity and powerful
ideas.
I am a
child of God and have within me the infinite Christ potential. I am the
outlet of all there is in God.
Chapter
3
I make
every step I take go in the direction of God. I am willing to change so
that my unlimited potential might unfold.
I recognize
my own innate divinity – that I am an expression of the indwelling
Christ.
I am
transformed by the renewing of my mind.
I live my
life from the inside out; I know the truth and it frees me.
In making a
decision for Christ, I agree to allow the Christ spirit within me guide
me all I do. I am a spiritual being in potential.
When I know
the truth of my being, I am free to become my unlimited self and free to
do unlimited things. I draw on a higher potential.
In making I
AM statements, I affirm my unity with the Infinite and state my highest
and best state.
I am a
limitless expression of the Infinite.
Chapter
4
The
presence of God dwells in me as a force surrounding me and as a
principle by which I live.
The Father
within me does the work.
I can never
be separated from God because I am spirit – an expression of God.
I live and
move in an infinite ocean of intelligence, life and substance.
God loves
me because God is love and this love is my true nature.
God’s
will for me is perfect life, perfect wisdom and perfect love.
Chapter
5
I was
created in the image and likeness of God. I produce an image in the
without of the image within.
“Father,
glorify thou me with thine own self with the glory which I had with thee
before the world was.” John 17:5
I
completely manifest the inner life of the spirit; nothing is impossible
for me.
I look for
and find the Christ within myself, just as Jesus found the Christ within
himself.
I express
the presence of God in me, and remain a focal point through which the
attributes of God are projected into livingness.
The Christ
light within me is “the true light that lights every man coming into
the world.” John 1:9
The power
that supported Jesus also supports and inspires me; I express health,
fulfillment, creativity and worthiness as part of my potential.
I can be
free of error thinking, I can overcome, I can be healed – not because
Jesus was something special, but because I am something special – a
child of God.
I am a
spiritual being. I am whole and free. I am confident and capable. I am
the master of my life.
Chapter
6
I am not
conformed to this world but am transformed by the renewing of my mind.
(from Paul’s letter to the Romans 12:2) Results are mine when my
attitudes of being and states of mind change.
I am
blessed when I let go of ego and pride. I let go of my desire to
exercise my personal will.
I don’t
know all the answers, but I am willing to learn.
I am open
and receptive to the inflow and the outpouring of all there is in God.
I am
grateful for challenges that lead me beyond my extremity to God’s
opportunity.
I now
realize that I myself can do nothing; my powers come from him who sent
me. I surrender to the consciousness of God and let go of all
resistance.
I am in
tune with God; that which is God-inspired and God directed shall
prevail.
I hunger
and thirst after righteousness (right thinking). I see from a
God-consciousness. I see God everywhere.
I live life
from within out. I change my thoughts about the world, and in so doing,
change the world.
My
attitudes and consciousness attract what comes into my life. I decide
the kind of world I want to experience. I keep my thoughts centered upon
only those things that I want to see manifest in my life.
As I remain
pure in heart and thought, I develop tremendous insights. I see beyond
appearances to the potential that appears in all.
I see
things, not as they are, but as I am, and I am in spiritual unity with
God.
Peace comes
to me when I am receptive to it and become a peacemaker.
I am a
child of god and I act like one. I am a radiating center of peace and
love.
In my quest
for truth, I press on past my humanity to a deepening awareness and an
increasing releasing of my potential divinity.
Chapter
7
Because
God’s greatest gift to humans is the power of thought, I incorporate
into my consciousness the mind of God and express the wisdom of God.
I open my
eyes to see things more completely.
I am a
radiating center of Truth in the world and I accept the responsibility
of bringing the spiritual leaven of Truth to the world.
I have no
existence outside of God, but am the activity of God expressing as me.
There is no
place where the light of God is any more present than where I am. I am
the light of the world. I let my light shine before others so that they
may see my good works.
I keep
myself inwardly poised and keep my thoughts positive and loving, in
spite of injustice or disorder around me.
I deal with
fear thoughts by affirming that I am a spiritual being and do not accept
this thought of weakness.
The
“adversary” is my thoughts and feelings about things happening
around me; the only thing I can control is what I think about what
happens.
Chapter
8
I
accomplish great feats, not in spite of my opponents, but because of
them.
Whatever is
standing between me and my unity with God must go.
Even though
I have a right to be upset and angry, I choose peace instead. The only
way to get even with another who has wronged me is to love him, bless
him and forgive him.
I affirm my
right to determine how I act, regardless of how others act.
I love my
enemy because when I allow him to cause resistance in me, I am not
acting out my divinity. I love others because I deserve it and need to
keep my love-energy flowing.
If I truly
love someone, I see beyond appearances and see the divine in that
person. I affirm that I am now free from criticism. I am loving and
responsive to the divinity in everyone I meet.
I avoid the
unforgivable sin – the closed mind, the mind that is made up, that
will not let the Spirit reveal new Truths.
When I go
the extra mile and become a joyful giver, my life takes on new meaning.
Love is a
divine energy that begins in God and has no end. I tune in to this
energy and am moved by it as it flows through me.
Chapter 9
I unify my thinking with the creative source of all that is good.
God is Spirit, and I worship in Spirit and in Truth. I lift myself up to a high level of consciousness to connect with the all-sufficient life, substance and intelligence of God.
In prayer I open my life that I may receive what God has always been trying to give me.
When I ask God for help, I claim my inheritance as a spiritual being. I believe I already have it.
Like Jesus, I claim my truth with strong I AM affirmations. I am the light of the world.
Father, I am your child. I affirm my unity with You. I acknowledge your kingdom within me which is whole and perfect, as is your nature. You are my supply at all times. You remind me to be forgiving and intent on staying in the light.
I am now conscious of the infinite and eternal presence in whom I live and by which I think and create.
Your presence within me is whole and complete; you are my health, intelligence, substance and love.
I am your glorious possibility. I let your perfect idea of me unfold in and through me. I have no existence outside of you and can never be separated from you.
Chapter 10
I lay up treasures in heaven, for where my treasure is, there will my heart be also. I have a mental bank account of faith, building an awareness of the opulent substance of Spirit. This consciousness attracts goodness to me.
God is the source of my supply; material substance flows through me and to me.
My thoughts are property attuned to the Infinite Mind. I trust in God in all transactions and experiences.
I salute the divinity in every person, even those who are unloving and unjust. When I see the goodness is all people, I see with a single eye and draw goodness from them.
I am established with spiritual unity with God and with all people. I express the divinity in me and I salute the divinity in everyone I meet.
I am a spiritual being, living life from within out. I relax and let go and let life fulfill itself in me.
I refrain from worrying and let every day take care of itself. It is my privilege to uncover my good one day at a time. Life is eternal and I am alive in eternity now.
Chapter 11
I pray believing that help and healing are already mine because of my unity with God. I find abundant life here and now.
When I enter into the Spirit, I am free from bondage to the flesh, my debt is canceled and I begin to know and experience life and wholeness.
I look at my own limitations and correct them, rather than trying to correct others. I release my need to change others.
As I become more loving and understanding, my brother’s imperfections become irrelevant.
I am God’s child and it is right for me to have love, companionship and fulfillment. I claim it, I give thanks for it.
I release the creative potential in me and find the opportunities to fulfill it. I draw to me the right and perfect place where I can fulfill all my needs. I release and fulfill the divine energy within me.
I build my life upon principles that are impervious to change and challenge. I give expression to the Truth that is within me.
Chapter 12
I avoid darkness of self-limitation by turning on the light of Spirit.
Like the prodigal son, I realize that my separation is unnecessary and I return to the Father.
God is love even though I am angry and bitter. As I release my bitterness, rise above my guilt and stop feeling sorry for myself, in that moment, “God is love” sweeps through me and loves me.
As the prodigal son decided to arise and go to his father, I rise out of my limited consciousness and accept the truth of my sonship. I am instantly received by the Father.
I let the flood of life and inspiration and intelligence fill me and thrill me – and I am transformed. I am forgiven because I have forgiven myself.
If I want forgiveness, I must express forgiveness. I find release from guilt through forgiveness.
As I express more love and understanding, I release the positive power of the Spirit that cleanses me.
I forgive and love my enemies not for their sake, but for my own. I let go of judgment and bring myself into a state of accepting what is.
As I turn to God, the wisdom, love, life and peace of God showers me with the blessings of His presence.
