Affirmations
from The Power of Now
by
Eckart Tolle
"Behold,
NOW is the acceptable time." 2 Corinthians 6:2
I
do not put off, to some other imaginary time, my happiness. Right now is
the time for me to be happy. This is the day that I accept the blessings
that God has for me. I know that God's will for me is bountiful good.
I accept this premise. I discipline my thoughts and feelings, my
beliefs and expectations, and I prepare to receive my good from God -
NOW.
My
ultimate destiny is to re-connect with my essential Being and express
from my extraordinary, divine reality in the physical world.
My
true nature is the ever-resent I AM. My true wealth is the radiant joy
of Being and the deep, unshakable peace that comes with it.
I
am aware of my thoughts, but also my deeper self as the witness of these
thoughts. I am conscious of this present moment and choose peace.
I
release unconscious resistance and judgment of what is. As I accept the
Now, I am free of pain and suffering.
The
present moment is all I will ever have. Nothing exists outside the Now.
I allow it to be what it is.
The
Now is the primary focus of my life. I say "yes" to life.
The
eternal present is the space within which my whole life unfolds. It is
my only point of access into the timeless and formless realm of Being.
I
observe my pain-body, feel its energy field with me, take my attention
into it, and deny that my pain-body has any power over me. My
identification with my pain-body is broken as I observe it.
I
have no need to defend myself; I have no need to be right. True power is
within me and available to me right now.
There
is nothing I lack; I am complete and whole.
My
life situation (existing in the past and future) is not my life
(existing in the Now).
Using
my senses fully, I am aware of my surroundings and space and rhythms. I
observe my breath and life energy as I move into the Now.
I
decide that I will create no more pain or problems for myself or for
others. I let go of my fears and stay centered in the Now.
As
I direct my attention to the Now, I feel a presence, a stillness, a
peace. Life flows with joy and ease.
