Sunday mornings from 9:30 - 10:45 AM in our meeting room at Hanging Gardens.

Entering the Castle by Caroline
Myss is based on the writings of St.
Teresa of Avila; it is about achieving higher consciousness through mystical practices, even
though we live in a secular world.
Discussion questions are available at church or by e-mail. Books are available locally or online.
We read the
first assignment previous to the first class. This class ran 11 weeks. It was our last class at Unity Cedar Hill.

Unity.FM presented Jesus and the Awakening to God Consciousness with Deepak

Wendy Craig Purcell. The six-week webinar is based on the book The
Third Jesus and was completed the week before Thanksgiving. The series
is now available for sale on DVDs. Our study group watched it in August. All
programs and interviews have archives you can access if you can't listen to them when they
are broadcast live.

In December RevEd presented a series on
Mastering the Darkness: Embracing the Light/The Universal Power of the Winter Solstice.
Long before the birth of Jesus of Nazareth, people of all cultures and beliefs regarded the Winter Solstice as a time of great spiritual significance. Its interplay of shadows and light reminds us of the challenges and creative possibilities inherent in each of us.
In this series, Rev Ed drew on many belief systems to define the powerful energy of this sacred season - and the ways in which we can incorporate it into our own lives.
In
January, RevEd spoke about De-Stressing for the Changing Times. This topic
is based on the booklet by that name by Doc Childre of HeartMath Institute. The booklet can be read

February/March,
RevEd talked about "Waking Up, Working Through, Moving Higher: An Emergency Tool Kit for our Spiritual Journey."
The premise is: We have all the tools we need to dissolve challenges and create new joy and prosperity in our lives. We just need to claim them -- and learn how to use them!
In this series Rev Ed focused on the Sermon on the Mount, the Twelve Steps, A Course in Miracles and other tools
- discussing what each tool offers and how best to use it.
Group work also helped focus our attention on using the tools and supporting the members. In
April, RevEd talked about The Course in Miracles; he has shared the roots of
the Course, a comparison to Unity theology and universal principles that can help change our

Unity Dallas and wanted her to speak to our group. She is author of the
